The desire to create these kits came from my experience working in emergency services as both a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician. I served with two different fire department including time spent as Assistant Chief and later Chief of the department for one of those volunteer organizations.
At the same I also volunteered with local medical services responding to a variety of calls. That experience taught me what is truly useful in emergencies.
